I started feeding my Chi Orijen & it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for him. He’s a picky eater, was having tummy issues & had loose stools, but since switching to this amazing grain free brand he’s happier, softer shinier coat & his stools are a solid consistency. His breath even smells better, which tells me his tummy issues are getting better. Honestly, I’m surprised Orijen isn’t on this list. The food is even safe for human consumption (not that I would, but doesn’t that tell you everything you need to know?). Check it out. Especially if you have a Chihuahua. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t say enough about this company & it’s the highest quality of dry dog food available (in my opinion). It’s not cheap, but because it’s packed with so much nutrition you don’t have to feed as much. Best wishes. 😉

IBS Causes :Studies show that people's response to pain is more influenced by psychosocial factors than physiologic factors. Psychosocial factors refer to a person's way of psychologically dealing with social interaction (. how they cope, do they tend to get depressed easily etc). Physiologic factors refer to physical issues such as rectal or colon sensitivity. Research shows that patients who were more influenced by psychosocial factors (such those with a history of depression or physical abuse) were also more likely to experience IBS symptoms more frequently and severely.

Dogfighting is an insidious underground organized crime and all dog fighters, regardless of their level, embrace many peripheral crimes and gang activities including drug dealing and consumption, gambling, theft, and violence against humans. [ 44 ] Dogfighting is an incredible source of income for gangs and drug traffickers. In fact, the average dog fight could easily net more money than an armed robbery, or a series of isolated drug transactions. Organized dog fights are staged by leaders of the drug trade as forums to distribute narcotics. Many recent dog fighting raids, include those in Flint, MI (2003), Buffalo, NY (2004),   Port St. Lucie, FL (2004), Jones County, GA (2004), and Oklahoma City, OK (2004), have resulted in the infiltration of major drug distribution networks, and the arrest of the drug kingpins who regularly organized and attended the dog fights. Unfortunately cancer doesn't follow many rules about how it responds to things. My second rottie B'Elanna had paraneoplastic syndrome with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, a very similar condition. We thought she just had IMHA until her stomach literally fell apart. She responded to treatment (she was on prednisolone, azathioprine, doxycycline, and azithromycin for suspected Bartonella infection) slowly for about a month, then just crashed and burned. We thought it was a perforated ulcer due to the pred, but the surgeon said her whole stomach was very friable, and biopsy results which came up a week after she died said she had cancer. We tried to get her stomach back together, but she had post-surgery complications (pulmonary thromboembolism, probably stomach fell apart again), so I had to euthanize her.

Hi, was just checking out your website and dog food recipe! We have two Akita’s, ( they are mix of Akita, Sheperd and Chow) Brother’s! We feed them once in the morning and once in the evening, we keep a can in the dry food bag, ( was a vegtable can) and each dog gets a full can of (14oz.) dry food each feeding. We have been feeding them Nutro Plus.
The biggest of two dogs 127 lbs, would like more, but we don’t give it to him. The other dog is pretty close to 100 lbs. and is a very picky eater, sometimes we have to add things to get him to eat. My question is, do we need to feed them twice a day? We always have and have had them since they were pups! We would like to feed them better, I think I may try your dog food recipe. Do you think feeding once a day will be better for them? If we do go to once a day, should we start that right away or gradually get them used to the idea of once a day feedings? So confused on how to get started! Also, with your dogfood recipe, would you feed the serving size for the large dogs all at once or break it into two feedings? so many questions!
Thank you, Pam
